The Ministry
We were encouraged to have several visitors come to the church recently! One of the men who came a couple of times seemed to be searching for the truth, but he turned out to be more interested in what he could get physically—not spiritually. Sadly, that is the situation for many of the people here who are living on the streets. It has definitely been a learning experience as we continue to reach out to the various types of people here. Another man in his late 40s came a couple weeks ago and professed to be saved. He said he would be coming back and seemed excited to stay afterward and fellowship for a while. As we head into the summer months, we’re starting to see attendance drop, since many people leave for their summer homes on the beach. However, it’s a blessing to have the “faithful few” who have been quite consistent!

There have been many opportunities to reach the people on the streets lately. One of them was a military parade where hundreds of tracts were given out! Many of them weren’t interested, but plenty of people accepted them as well. We continue to be on the streets each week and pray for the Lord to work on the hearts of the people that we meet. Recently, we had a good witness with Constantinos and his wife. I plan to meet up with them again sometime to discuss more of his questions. Although he claims to be Greek Orthodox, like most people here, I believe he is searching for the truth.

Our family has also handed out many tracts to the university students as they head home for the day. It’s exciting to see the majority accept them—and even thank us— which is definitely uncommon here! They do seem to be more open to talking about the Bible, but not really serious about their need for salvation. Please pray that we can find more ways to reach out to them as well!

The Family
The children are excited to be finishing up their school year! It will be great to have them more involved with Greek classes each week and outreach during the day. They enjoy being part of the evangelism efforts and helping reach the people. We are happy to see them adapting so well and starting to practice the little bit of Greek that they do know.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support! May the Lord find us faithful in the field as we look for His soon return!
