Dear Brethren,
Many of you have contacted me or asked about the status of our paperwork! Thank you for praying for our family as we have been navigating through the issues with our paperwork to stay here in Greece. As I mentioned at the end of our last prayer letter, we were issued rejection letters from the immigration department and had 25 days to leave the country. The Lord has worked out the situation in such an amazing way that we are truly amazed at what has transpired in the last few weeks! We were able to get German passports for my wife and four children, which gives them European Union citizenship! This was possible since my wife is German by descent and was able to prove everything with the documentation. My wife was able to receive her German passport the day before our 25-day deadline, and our children received theirs today! They are now officially dual citizens and will not have a problem living here long term. Now that they have their new passports, we will apply for their resident permits as EU citizens. Also, I can now submit the paperwork for my resident permit as the spouse of an EU citizen since I only have a US passport. We were beginning to wonder what was going to happen as our deadline was getting closer; however, the Lord opened up another way for us to continue on here! Again, thank you very much for your prayers!!! We are praising the Lord for all of this coming tore is willing to help us. We arrived here by faith and will continue to trust the Lord to work out these details as well! Thank you very much for your faithful prayers and support! May the Lord get all the glory every step of the way!
