July-August 2025

We praise the Lord for His blessings and protection as we have now been here a year as of July! Our family traveled to Bulgaria for a couple days during the first week of July and had the privilege of being part of the Kesslers midweek service as well as helping them distribute John & Romans in a small village close to our border. It was an encouragement to worship with the brethren there and see what God is doing in that ministry. The missionaries throughout Bulgaria are doing an amazing job covering the whole country with the John & Romans booklets!

Near the end of July, our family began distributing New Testaments throughout the city and have reached many apartment buildings. Our children are excited to be part of this endeavor and enjoy getting involved as we go from building to building throughout the city. We praise the Lord we were able to get out over 6,500 Bibles as a family!

In the beginning of August came sad news from one of the ladies in our church. Her son that was only 47 had passed away from a heart attack and she wanted me to preach his memorial service. I was able to present the gospel to over 70 family members and challenge them regarding where they will spend eternity. We hope and pray that the Lord will continue to deal with many of her lost relatives.

Recently, we had a missions group from DeLand, Florida visit! Our children were excited to spend time with some of their friends for a few days. During their visit, we were able to distribute another 3,900 more New Testaments throughout the city! It was a blessing to have the Kesslers help us get many of these Bibles into the neighborhoods as well! We praise the Lord for the great time of fellowship and ministry together with the brethren.

In closing, we would ask that you please pray for our paperwork to stay here in Greece. We received the rejection letters from immigration this week and have been given 25 days to leave. However, we are in the process of working on another way to stay here long term. We have been informed that we must leave and are allowed to return for 90 days. The plan, with Gods help and your prayers, is to stay here by applying for EU citizenship since my wife can claim her German citizenship by descent. There has been a lot of research put into this route and the German consulate here is willing to help us. We arrived here by faith and will continue to trust the Lord to work out these details as well! Thank you very much for your faithful prayers and support! May the Lord get all the glory every step of the way!
