Dear Brethren,
What a blessing to see the Lord work in our lives and answer so many prayers! Thank you all for praying for us as we began looking for a house and vehicle here in Greece. The Lord provided us with a wonderful home to rent, and we are now settled in. Also, we had been waiting and praying to find a used van that would accommodate our family. The Lord had the house and van come together in the same week! It really is amazing to think how all this has fit together so well… since it’s not typically like that here and takes a lot of patience. We praise the Lord for everything coming together in His timing.
We continue to go out each week and do public evangelism. One of the exciting parts of this ministry is meeting people from all around the world! Some are fellow believers and stop to encourage us, while others will scoff or tear up the tracts. Regardless, it’s been a real blessing to see the brethren from our church get involved as well. One elderly lady stopped by to explain why it was the wrong approach to reaching people. She did not think the banner with Jesus on the cross was appropriate since it was during their holiday of celebrating the life and death of the mother Mary. After some discussion, I asked kindly how she would do it or recommend to us on how to reach the lost. She did not have an answer and could only speak a little English, so it was difficult to go any further. Although, it’s not a satisfying conclusion to me, our goal is to be consistent and faithful as the Lord works on their hearts. We praise God for the small things that are happening and excited to see what’s coming in the future!
